Space is at a premium in an indoor water park, and designers are often challenged with cramming as many slides and attractions into the building as possible. A common design problem with indoor water parks is that ceiling space often goes unused and thus becomes wasted space. So we thought, What if you could make something fit in to that wasted space?, then it wouldn’t be wasted space anymore.

In 2008 we set out to solve the problem by designing a water slide track switch. A design which permits the use of a small single rider loading platform, but unlike a traditional water slide it creates a dynamic ride experience by switching riders from one slide to another. Multiple switches can be used within multiple segments to increase capacity. The flexibility of the system is endless, and no two rides would be exactly alike.
